While Halloween isn’t exactly an official holiday in the Philippines, it nearly is on Boracay. There aren’t many places to buy a costume, so DIY is usually key. For obvious reasons, Halloween 2020 on Boracay promises to be rather slow, compared to previous years. The island’s population mostly consists of locals and many businesses have not yet opened doors to the public; however there are a few great places you can still check out on October 30th and 31st this year.

Halloween Trick or Treat activity back-to-back with a community market filled with cooked food, pantry staples, bread, pastries, fresh produce, preloved & brand new RTWs, accessories and so much more! No entrance fees. This event is open for everyone. The market is well covered and located inside Zetro’s concert hall. Rain or shine, we’re fine!
Nigi Nigis – Halloween Charity Jam
Jam the evening away with the Calamity Survival band and friends – great live music from 4:00pm onwards. The Event is in support of local musicians and families durring the tourism halt.

Epic Boracay – Cirque Du Freak
Billed as “the most highly anticipated party of the year in Boracay” Epic throws down on Halloween with “CIRQUE DU FREAK” The Epic Halloween Ball. Even those of us who frequent Epic might be curious to see what they mean by transforming the club into “A world of wonders and human curiosities”. The party goes from 9:00pm until sunrise and features the musical talents of DJ HANNAH ICHIKO and MC Joms along with Epic resident DJs, Acidburn, ADN, Bigboy and Jam Hulleza.
Club Galaxy – Scream in Paradise
Billed as “The scariest and biggest Halloween event in Boracay” Epic’s Boracay Halloween party features guest DJ FailEO, landing hot on Boracay, straight out of Thailand. This spooky jam has no cover charge and the party starts at 8:00pm. Locals are entitled to one free cocktail with your island ID. Call in advance for bottle service and note the free shuttle to the club between 8:00pm and 3:00am.
Mad Monkey – Halloween Monster Mash
The Mad Monkey parties so hard it’s almost like Boracay islands very own sideways bus crash. Join this wild thrum of booze bodies and costumes for the Halloween Monster Mash. The DJ hits the booze floor from 12:30 PM (In the afternoon!) until close. Revelers can enjoy Spooky drink specials, costume contests, and giveaways.
Aqua Boracay De-Luxe Halloween Party
Aqua Boracay, Boracay’s only day club goes night-time dark on Halloween. The Entrance fee is 500p and comes with one signature cocktail and one spirit (haha!) Those that want to get the best seating may be interested in renting one of the loungers or cabanas which come with even more free drinks. Taking full control of the Halloween Music on Aqua’s phenomenal sound system will be DJ Marv Tesla.
Levantin – Halloween Gathering
This bar and restaurant hails from Boracay’s eclectic back beach to bring you an All Hallows’ Eve gathering. Expect nothing less than outrageous brinksmanship and off-color fun from one of Boracay’s most notorious local hangouts. DJ Djila kicks off the evening from 7pm, and when the party comes to a crescendo the built-up mutant energy will be released upon White beach in a parade of booze travelers, soccer hooligans, and maliciously good folks.
Ambassador in Paradise – Spooky Halloween Night Dinner
Ok, Ok. Let’s dial back all that partying and talk about a good clean fun Halloween dinner. If you’d like to celebrate the evening but scale back all that noise, try Ambassador in Paradise. They will be hosting a Halloween dinner this year at the resort’s Al Fresco Restaurant. The Italian food specialists will be on hand to guide guests through an evening dinner that also features professional Saxophonist, Sean Yared who will be doing the sunset by sax – as well as a Local acoustic band, with honorable mentions to bar supervisor superstar Christian Jude! Happy hour starts at 3:00pm and runs until 6:00pm.
Discovery Shores Boracay – Scarecrow Scare
Discovery Shores weighs in on the wholesome end of the spectrum with “Scarecrow Scare”. An afternoon of games perfect for the kids! the wonder of Halloween is alive and well for the little ones on Scarecrow Alley billed as a “Spooky trick or treat experience”. A special prize will be awarded to the child with the best costume. This year’s celebration will be shared with the local kids from Balabag Plaza, donations and toys in any amount are humbly appreciated.
2BrownBoys – All Night Fright!
Last and totally least is 2Brown Boys – Boracay’s local late-night good times dive bar. All through the night, people from far-flung local venues and countries you might not have ever heard of will stop in for drink and cheer. There’s no one single special event, but rather the entire evening is a big parade of broken costumes, laughter, and tall tales.
